Visiting Hospice Program
Comfort, Connection & Compassionate Care at Home
Our visiting hospice program provides comfort, companionship, and practical support for individuals in the final stage of a life-limiting illness. Trained volunteers bring warmth, presence, and meaningful connection directly to your home — supporting both clients and caregivers during one of life’s most difficult transitions.
What Our Visiting Volunteers Do
What Is Visiting Hospice?

Social and emotional companionship
-
Short-term respite for caregivers
-
Legacy work and meaningful activities
-
Engaging in hobbies, interests, or pastimes
Who It’s For

This program is designed for individuals in the final stages of a life-limiting illness who wish to receive support at home.
How It Helps

Support is provided by staff and a team of professionally trained volunteers who offer emotional support, caregiver relief, and practical assistance. Each volunteer is carefully screened and receives more than 25 hours of specialized hospice training, supervised and supported by professional staff.
Volunteer Visiting

Volunteers visit clients in their homes to provide companionship, caregiver relief, and practical support in ways that reflect each client’s needs and preferences.
Scheduling Visits

Clients and volunteers work together to determine a visiting schedule that feels comfortable and manageable. Visits are often set for the same day each week, but flexible arrangements can also be made.
