Membership

 

NOTE: Only Members of the Corporation may vote at Members meetings. Memberships are annual from the beginning of the fiscal year on April 1 to the end of the fiscal year on March 31 of the following year.

 

AGM voting privilege requires membership in Hope House Community Hospice. The 2024-2025 membership requirement is:

• a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer service from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024

• or a minimum donation of $100.00 from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024

Members must be 18 or older.

Individuals who have not yet applied to renew their Memberships may do so up to the start of the meeting but are encouraged to do so as soon as possible to streamline the registration process at the meeting. Members who do not renew their membership prior to the start of the meeting will not be allowed to vote and their Membership will be terminated but they may reapply after the meeting. 

 

Individuals who are not renewing a Membership but applying for a Membership must do so at least forty-eight hours prior to the meeting or they will not be allowed to vote but they may apply for membership anytime after the meeting.
